Like many bloggers, I have come down with insomnia. Only tonight though, and probably related to the fact that I had half a cup of coffee at 7. Normally it doesn't affect me but I've been cutting down on caffeine. And I'm stressed beyond belief at work. Good times!
Ooh, coffee at 7? That would ruin me.

ReplyDeleteTorn: I had to be somewhere at 8 and I knew I'd be asleep by 9 if I didn't do something! I just hadn't wanted to be up all night.

I could do with a bout of insomnia - I'm out like a light at any opportunity, lately.
ReplyDeleteEven our earthquake didn't rouse me fully from sleep. Stupid puny earthquake.
I bet it's the stress more than the caffeine. I think most people over-emphasize the effect of one cup of coffee. Unless, of course you have always been sensitive to it.
ReplyDeleteI am lucky in that I can drink coffee or tea RIGHT before bed and still fall asleep. I am a freak that way.
I drank a big Red Bull at 5 once and was up until 4 am. Never again.
