Snack time on Sunday

Pumpkin muffins for me...

[Don't scroll down if you don't like the fact that cats are predators]

Fresh kill for the Fur Snake. Although I ate the muffins. Fur just licked the dead mouse like a popsicle and left it on the doorstep for me. Tonight I buried the mouse in the garden.

  1. I barely recognized that as a mouse. The ones I see usually have no heads. I'm beyond burying them though. I just shovel them into the dumpster. (Sorry little mouse souls!)

    The muffins look great!

  3. Aha! The corpses!
That's why your garden grows so well.

  6. OMG those muffins look like a mouthful of heaven. And that's so sweet you buried the mouse.

  7. Um, I think that is a rat, not a mouse. Look at the tail...long w/no fur.

  10. Roxrocks: Not sure if I could handle a decapitated mouse on my doorstep

Eros: lol - I think that Fur Snake believes she is a wild lion

Brice: I bury them under the catnip. It seems fitting.

Kat: I think Fur Snake would disagree, but I'm with you on muffins being tastier

IDV: :) Just to note: Fur wasn't in England so at least she isn't responsible for Beaky's disappearance

FM: The muffins are indeed quite yummy

CD: But it's so tiny. No more than three inches long.

Stewie: I'll put the kettle on.

Susan: I'm not a huge pumpkin fan, but I do like these muffins.

  13. CD: Okay, I searched pics of mice and rats. I think you're right. Toronto does have rats now that we have the green bin [organic waste] recycling program. Fur has caught several. Glad I haven't run into any full-grown ones.

Torn: Come visit and I'll make you a whole batch of muffins.

Stewie: The kettle boiled dry. I thought you were on the way
