On being a morning person
I was listening to "Downtown came uptown" by David Wilcox this morning. It wasn't too loud, but about 10 seconds into the song I realized that it was 5:30am and that my neighbours would not appreciate hearing my music. That's the way it is but recently I've been asleep by 9pm and when my neighbours listen to music at 10:30pm it drives me insane, but I realize that it's not unreasonable that they are doing so. It's the same with friends who phone me after 11pm. They're up until 1:30 and so think nothing of it but when I get a call at that time it's like being woken up in the middle of the night.

Larks and owls. I perennial problem.
I don't know how you do it. I normally hit my 2nd wind around 7 or 8 pm and don't slow down until eleven or so.
Oh and I hope you don't mind that I've tagged you for one of those online quiz thingies.
I back up to a baby's nursery, so I'm good with having the alarm clock a little loud.
Speaking of which, I had one of those dreams where you incorporate the alarm clock into your dreams this morning. I was skipping along, singing the alarm clock song while everybody watched. It was awesome.
I'm an early riser, too. My friends make fun of me for being "old" Okay, they have a point.
I'm a grudgingly early riser because of work. Otherwise, I'd be up at all hours, calling you in the middle of the night.
Sometimes I find myself wanting to call someone and I look at the clock and it's 6am, sigh, nobody's even awake yet.
Tickers: I always date owls.
Perplexio: I have done the thingie! I don't get how you can come alive at night. I'm usually having a cup of coffee at 7pm in an attempt to stay awake until 9pm
Freak: lol. Dreams like that unnerve me. Mind you, I have woken up to an alarm clock about 5 times in the past year. I awaken automatically.
Kat: Shush! You're my age. I'M NOT OLD. [sigh]
Dan: I'd be outside your door at 6am with coffee.
Torn: Darlin', call me when you have the urge to chat at 6am
Me, in the morning.
