The Road Warrior
I so wish I could say that the above was the result of some dramatic moment like a car turning suddenly, but I just forgot to 'unclip' when coming to a stop. However, I felt so tough after the fall by having to cycle another 15km or so to complete the ride, and then later washing off blood and grease. I'll just pretend that I didn't have to sit at the side of the road for a bit in shock and trying not to vomit because of this mild flesh wound.

Battle scars are cool! You are a road warrior! Luv it! Way to go, Snooze! You rock!
Woo hoo, look at those gams :)
I wish I could say I thought battle scars were cool. On other people, maybe. On me, all my bike mishaps have made my legs look like twin root vegetables...
Maybe it's just me, though.
Oh no!!!! Well, glad to hear it's just a "mild" wound... and I must say your calves look like a pro bike rider's!! Way to go!
I have to agree with eroswings. Battle scars kick ass. Especially when you make up extravagant stories on how you got them. That's key.
Like the scar I got from that time I got shot (or stabbed) defending that girl. That scar wasn't from falling out of a tree when I was 12. No sir. It was a bullet (or stab) wound.
I got a little woozy just looking at the picture.
Eros: Thanks - I do feel kind of warrior like
AC: My legs are all scarred up, but I kind of love it
Susan: I'm proud of the calves too.
Stewie: lol - I was telling people that I was speeding down a hill when I had to stop for a puppy that ran in front of my bike. And bless you for saving that girl.
Rox: Sorry hon! It is a bit gross.
